Free Spirit E Class Gold Rod Review

This product insight will be looking in detail at Free Spirits E Class Gold Carp Rod range. The E Class are recognised for their contemporary looks and outstanding performance. There are variety of rods in the range including carp rods, stalking rods and application rods. Whether you require a long range casting rod, short range stalking rod or boat rod you will be able to find a rod to suite your angling requirements. Personally I use four of the 10ft 3.00lb E-Class for boat fishing. They have proven to be very useful when playing fish from the boat and dropping baits because they are less cumbersome. Just because they are short doesn't mean they aren't powerful. I have landed a number of large fish from very weedy waters such as Stoneacres on the Linch Hill Complex and they haven't let me down.

Rod Action and Carbon

The E Class blank has been manufactured with high modulus 40t carbon and finished with a 3k weave and a perdurable finish, which makes them immune from scratches, dints and bleaches. The darker coloured blank with gold whippings and stainless steel collars makes the E Class one of the most contemporary looking blanks on the market. With a smooth but crisp action in the standard blank and an action in S.U versions similar to that of the Hi-S ive.

Price Tag

The price of these rods put them in the mid to lower price bracket. These rods look great, perform great and you are getting a lot of rod technology for your money. The E Class are a personal favourite of mine and when I'm not using my Hi S ive's you can be sure these will be the next rods I pull from the bag.
